During Neil Roberts 2nd visit this year to Lonsdale he and his family had a great time catching plenty of fish, see his catch report below:
As usual we had a great time on our visit; especially Heather as you can see from the pictures below, she started with an 11 1/2lb common followed by 2 nice pike around the 9lb mark, Nathan and I had some catching up to do. All in all it was a great visit and we had some great fish out of the water including a 13lb pike on a tropical
fruit boilie.
We are looking forward to our next visit, see you again in the spring
With the weather starting to cool down slightly there has been a feeding frenzy with Steve and Sue Bowne having a great week last week with plenty of pike as well as several carp. The event of the week though had to be whilst Matt and Val were cleaning the cottages at the weekend, a commotion out on the lake caught their eye caused by what must have been a leviathan of a pike dragging a mallard under for his supper.
