Here we go Again!!

Hi Paul and Val, hope you are all well. Just getting in touch to share the catch we had back in march, apologies for it being so late but due to problems with my laptop I wasn’t able to access the pictures thankfully the problem has now been resolved. We arrived on Saturday the 22nd and to be fair conditions were not ideal with it being bitterly cold, not having fished Lonsdale so early in the season we weren’t entirely sure what to expect. We knew that fish location would be key so once unpacked and nets and unhooking mats dipped we went in search of our quarry. Eventually all three of use found swims with fish showing in them which was a great confidence booster to say the least, with darkness fast approaching we just managed to get set up for the night ahead. Being bitterly cold at night no action was had but upon first light the action began. Throughout the week a pattern started to show with bites coming through the warmest parts of the day as expected. The bites started of slow but as the week went on and more bait went in the action progressed. By the end of the week I landed 22 carp ranging from low to high doubles which I was over joyed with considering the conditions and time of year. Dad and Ryan had the about the same amount of carp between them and also choose to target the roach and pike during the periods of carp inactivity which proved to be very productive with numerous pike from low doubles to 17lb landed. Dad targeted the roach on a short line using the whip and had an abundance of top quality roach with several going over the magical 2lb mark. All carp came to the Lonsdale boilies and pellet with peach & black pepper and white chocolate being the most productive. Thanks for a very enjoyable late winter/early spring session, a great time was had by all as always. Hope to see you again later on in the year
Thanks for sending these over Aaron, If your Dad still as the photos of his catches on his 'phone & the time to send them over would be much appreciated! See you later in the year.
